🌿🎨 Reflections on Beauty from Our Headmistress

Why does beauty matter in education? Because beauty draws us into wonder.

Whether encountered in a great work of art, the wonders of creation, or the pages of a beloved book, beauty invites us to pause, pay attention, and delight in the world God has made. ✨📚

✨ Reflections from our Headmistress at The Abundant Life Banquet

At Headington Hill Classical Academy, we believe education is about learning to see the world rightly, to seek what is true, and to grow in wisdom as we come to know the One who is Truth. 📖💚

We are grateful for our Headmistress’s reminder of the heart behind our mission and for a community that makes this pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty possible! 🌿

Sometimes the simplest moments hold the greatest value. 🪨🌿

At recess, our students have the freedom to simply be children.

Whether they’re collecting rocks or inventing a game with friends, unstructured play gives children space to develop creativity and meaningful friendships.

We believe there is beauty in discovery, wonder in the ordinary, and wisdom to be found in simply having time to play. 💚

🍂One Week Until Our Gardner’s Orchard Fieldtrip! 🍎🌽

Families, come join us for a day of autumn fun at Gardner’s Orchard! We’ll enjoy the crisp fall air, explore the corn maze, and soak up all the seasonal fun. 🍁🧡

It’s the perfect way to celebrate the beauty of fall and enjoy some time together as a school community!

🦁📖 Once upon a Spirit Day… ✨👒

Our students brought their favorite characters to life for our Book Characters Spirit Day! 🧙‍♂️✨

But this Spirit Day was about more than dressing up—it was about giving back as our students brought books to collect for children in need! ❤️

What better way to celebrate the books we love than by making sure more children have the chance to discover them? 📚💚

🍂 Fall Break is officially here! 🍂

The House of Tolkien and the House of Homer came together for an autumn party to kick off break! 🍁 From games and laughter to good food and even better fellowship, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season and the community we share at HHCA. 🧡

We’re so grateful for the friendships, joy, and memories that make our house system so special! 🍂📚🏡
