Follow My Steps Follow My Steps Foundation is an organization dedicated to closing the social-economic gap in low-income communities.

A Massachusetts based organization with the objective to provide high school seniors with clarity and opportunity to pursue futures not typically advertised in low-income communities. Pioneering change first at their alma mater high schools, Follow My Steps has developed a template for similar communities to create a pipeline of success through free of charge specialized mentorship services.

Why become a Pioneer? Christina can give you a few reasons. 🤎

For Christina, becoming a Pioneer meant becoming the person she once needed: someone our youth can look up to, connect with and count on as they navigate their own futures.

At Follow My Steps, we believe mentorship matters. A few hours of your time, your guidance and simply showing up can make all the difference in the next steps of a young person’s life.

And right now, we need Pioneers ready to step up for our youth.

Just 1–2 hours a week can make all the difference in the next steps of a young person’s life. Pioneers show up with their time, guidance and support, including attending at least one FMS program in person each month, and receive a $100 monthly stipend for their commitment.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to show up.

At Follow My Steps, we believe Mentorship Matters.

Having someone in your corner to listen, encourage, guide, and simply show up can have a lasting impact on a young person’s confidence, choices, and path forward.

And making that impact doesn’t require changing your entire schedule. A small commitment of your time and guidance can make all the difference in the life of a young person in our community.

As an FMS Pioneer, you’ll be paired with an Explorer (mentee) and provide consistent support through weekly check-ins, encouragement, and meaningful connection, virtually or in person.

🏁The 5th Annual Mentoring Matters 5K was such a huge success, and a major part of that was our community showing up to support an amazing cause by running, donating, volunteering, cheering, vending and sponsoring. No contribution was too small, and we are so grateful for everyone who had a hand in making the day what it was.

Follow My Steps Hit the Red Carpet This Weekend! 🏀🌟

We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring some of our youth to the 2026 Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Celebration to experience the magic happening right here in their city, up close. From walking the carpet to shaking hands with some of the people they look up to most in a game they love, this was a night to remember.
