The day after school let out in May 2025, our PTO Board reached out to the principals at Five Points Elementary as we began dreaming about what another BIG gift our PTO could give to our school.
With so many changes coming to the buildings and grade levels across Springboro Schools, we wanted to think not only about what our school needed right now, but what would benefit our students for years to come.
As our board dreamed BIG alongside our administrators, we found the perfect item—and we’ve been working behind the scenes for more than a year to bring it to life through fundraising, design, planning, and purchasing.
This week, we were thrilled to welcome Interim Superintendent Mr. Matt Tudor to Five Points to officially cut the ribbon on our newest addition: the Five Points Book Vending Machine!
This vending machine will be paired with our school’s PBIS program, allowing students who demonstrate ROAR behavior to earn a FREE book to take home, enjoy and keep.
Fundraising isn’t necessarily our favorite part of PTO. 😉 But seeing the joy on students’ faces when they get to use and enjoy something that their families and our community helped make possible? That makes every bit of the hard work worth it.
From Nine Square in the Air, to Gaga Ball, and now our Book Vending Machine, Five Points PTO is committed to using every dollar you donate to make our school the very best it can be for our Five Points families.
