We had a fantastic turnout this Saturday for our first *day* campout of the year and the day was packed with learning, adventure, and plenty of fun!

The Scouts learned the importance of basic outdoor survival skills and how to be prepared for our future adventures in the great outdoors. They also got to enjoy an awesome program all about animal adaptations and bats thanks to the lovely staff at the nature center.

And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to our amazing parents! 👏
They were here to lend a helping hand wherever needed- jumping in to volunteer at stations and preparing some seriously delicious meals for everyone, as well as getting it all cleaned up afterwards!
Campouts wouldn’t be nearly as successful without all of the time and effort our families put in so we appreciate you!

As the sun went down, we gathered around the campfire for one of the best parts of the day- skits! Each group learned a skit and then performed it around the campfire for everyone. Watching the Scouts and parents get up there, be silly, be creative, and cheer each other on was such a fun way to end the night!

We’re so excited to welcome our new Scouts and families and can’t wait to see everyone again at our weekly den meeting today!

It was so great seeing so many new faces at our Open House yesterday!

We’re so excited to start a new year with new friends, new adventures, and lots of memories to come. 💙💛

But before we jump into the new Scout year- let’s take a little trip down memory lane and look back at all the fun, adventures, and memories we made together last year!

Last night our Scouts had an absolute blast bouncing the night away at Sky Zone!

Summer fun isn’t over yet! We still have plenty of exciting Pack activities coming up, and there’s even a Summertime Adventure belt loop waiting to be earned by attending at least three Cub Scout events this summer. We can’t wait to see everyone at the next adventure!

Welcome! …to Jurassic Park! 🦕🦕🦖

Our Scouts survived an unforgettable adventure at Day Camp this week! Despite Mother Nature unleashing a few prehistoric rainstorms, our young explorers had an absolute blast digging into the world of dinosaurs and learning all about these incredible creatures from the past.

But the adventure didn’t stop there! They sharpened their survival skills by practicing BB gun shooting, slingshots, and archery, proving they’re ready for whatever the wilderness!

One of the biggest highlights was fishing, where every single Scout reeled in a catch! 🎣
Talk about a dino-mite accomplishment!

Rain or shine, our Scouts made memories, learned new skills, and had an adventure millions of years in the making. We can’t wait to see where the next expedition takes us!
