Update my friends…
This is the last and final building Moms Against Hunger is working to complete at the orphanage in Kenya. This is our two story school and we are to the ‘roof stage’ at last.
Having spent childhood years in west Africa, I personally KNOW what a huge difference each building has made in the lives of the children.
My heart is starting to settle knowing God’s little ones here now have every part of life covered. Every part.
And future generations are going to be impacted greatly here in this bush area.
Some have watched MAH work.
Some have worked with MAH.
And the little ones who have received the much needed aid with every advance… have watched every detail unfolding for the past years of labor.
And … there is time to donate to help MAH finish this last building.
Would you like to be a part of the solution here in Africa?
They now have clean water, decent latrines, a proper kitchen, a boys dorm and a girls dorm… (2 story also) and now a real school soon.

Oh what a difference in the children! Now there is stability and safety, clean water and food, and consistent care happening each day at the Ekeonga Childcare Orphanage.
Daily work is being done to build them a proper school. It will be completed in 2026 with your help!

It took some time scouting jungle areas, but the straightest and right kind of trees have finally been found. We bought three trees. And they have all been milled by hand right there on the ground- preparing lumber for the roof of the school. This is how it’s done in the bush!
But it’s all cut and prepared for the next step of building the roof line on the Keonga Orphanage School in Kenya. Now it’s being carried out on the shoulders of a team of guys and stored at the school building which is ready at last for the roof.
Once this is in place, it will be time for the sheet metal roofing.
It’s arduous work finding and prepping the wood, but it’s done and our next step is literally putting this roof on the school.
The kids are so excited as they can see the day getting closer to having real classrooms.
