🌿 A Message from Our Founder 🌿

Dear Friends and Supporters,

You may have noticed that our social media pages have been quiet for some time. In the fall of 2023, I experienced an unimaginable personal loss—the tragic passing of our beloved daughter. My heart shattered. As the founder of Lily Olympia, I needed time to grieve and allow space for healing.

But through it all, the mission of Lily Olympia never stopped.

In fact, it has become even more meaningful. Just recently, I traveled to East Africa to meet with our incredible co-founder. Together, along with a team representing Texas Baptist Convention, we visited Napakinyi Village, the schools, and homes of the students we serve. What we witnessed was both humbling and inspiring—proof that the seeds we’ve planted are growing.

Stay tuned as we share updates from our visit and new ways to support our efforts . This work continues—stronger, deeper, and more rooted in love than ever before.

A future accountant!!! ❤️ Naomi comes from one of the most impoverished Islands on lake Victoria. She had lost hope for education, but thanks to Lily Olympia for granting her the opportunity, in one year, she will be joining college.

Our Share a Piglet Entrepreneurial Project has launched!!!

Through group dynamics, saving, and investment training, Lily Olympia seeks to empower vulnerable women by donating piglets to organized women groups and vulnerable women like widows and the elderly. These individuals and partner groups of women will grow them piglets for multiplication and then sell piglets to gain income. These women will work from their homes to and market the piglets or mature pigs in their communities and local butchers. The monies received will make an impact on their homes and community.
