About the Show:
It is December 1936. Broadway star William Gillette, celebrated the world over for originating the role of Sherlock Holmes on stage, invites his fellow cast members to his eccentric Connecticut mansion for a weekend of holiday revelry. When one of the guests is stabbed, the festivities in this house of hidden passages and clever gadgets turn dangerous fast. Gillette must call on his own stage detective's methods to unmask a real killer before the murderer strikes again.
Winner of the Edgar Award for Best Play, The Game's Afoot blends farce, mystery, and old-fashioned theatrical wit into a fast-paced whodunit for a cast of nine.
