IMPORTANT PSA: This time of year, turtles are crossing roads looking for food, mates, or the perfect place to lay their eggs. Please keep an eye out while driving!

If you spot a turtle in the road:

Make sure you’re safe first - pull over carefully.

Move the turtle in the direction it was going, never back the way it came.

Don’t pick it up by the tail as it can hurt them!

For snappers, use a car mat or gently hold the back of the shell just over the hind legs. Do not pick them up by the front or sides of the shell as they have long necks and can bite.

Never take a turtle with you - just help it safely across.

Let’s keep them safe this season. 💚

A homeless man with no house, very little money, and almost no possessions is touching hearts after people witnessed the incredible care he gives to stray kittens every single day.
Sitting quietly on the sidewalk with only cardboard beneath him, he spends what little he has making sure hungry cats can eat safely and peacefully. He carefully prepares food and water for them, arranging each meal with patience and love as if the tiny animals were the most important guests in the world.
To those frightened strays, he has become something priceless: safety. While many people pass by without noticing them, the kittens trust him completely, gathering around him for warmth, comfort, and care.
What makes the story so powerful is that this man asks for nothing in return. He does not seek attention, praise, or rewards. His happiness simply comes from watching the cats eat, hearing them purr, and knowing they are no longer alone for a little while.
His story is a reminder that kindness is not measured by wealth or comfort. Sometimes the people with the least still find ways to give the most love.

Kids were giving away "free kittens" on the corner, on my way home. Despite being WAY over capacity, and closed for intake, I immediately turned into the parking lot and took all 3. I had to take them as I know what could happen to them and I couldn't allow it.

Cats/kittens that needed to be pulled to save their lives. This is my Inbox every day. Every day I go to bed knowing many cats 🐈 met their ends that day, through no fault if their own. That's devastating.
