Had a great District 15 get-together today with Department President, Robin at Post 186. We heard from our President, 2 young ladies who went to Girls State, district & unit officers & helped prepare/decorate toiletry bags for our Veterans…an honor to attend!

Today at church I had a table with a poppy tablecloth, 2 Flanders poems & a dish of toy plastic soldiers…also a poster celebrating “Month of the Military family”… I invited my church friends as they left, to read the familiar poems & take a toy soldier or few home with them, place it/them on a shelf where they would see them & use it as a reminder to think say a prayer for our Veterans!
