Marquesa (and, honestly me) are over the containment of the crate. She’s been a good sport but it getting restless. Hoping to possibly be able to let her in a larger enclosure. 5 x 10 in the next week or so.

I’m breathing again. A lot has happened.
When tragedies occur there is always rush of guilt sadness and loss of security. For me, I feel like I can’t breathe and can’t move past the current moment. I question everything. This is the hardest part of rescue for me. I’m committed. There is no walking away. I have no choice but to persevere. Mourn, learn & move forward.
Marquesa’s doing well. We are bonding with the closeness.

Mako has arrived to Fox Tales Florida from Pawsitive Beginnings Inc in Key Largo. When introducing a fox into a new group, Sometimes some matches don’t work. This is why it sometimes takes a village. Since we have Marquesa, Mako’s sister, Mako came to live here. Mako and Marquesa have been allowed to interact since he got home but we are waiting for Marquesa to get healed up from her leg surgery.
