We had to put Velma down on Saturday. Again Cancer has won. She lived to be just over 20 years. We do not know what her life was like before the kill pen but she had a great life here with us during her last few years. She is up there running in fields of green with her fellow friends Sophie, Mystique and Jenifee.

🐾🐾🐾 UPDATE ON KITTEN BRIGHID🐾🐾🐾
UPDATE on the 3 month kitten Brighid. The eye looks really good. I mysrlf don't think it will need removal but like Dr said if the eye doesn't heal then she can remove it later. Dr Stone is on vacation and I want to wait til she comes back. They told me to bring the kitten in when out of meds, but i really don't want a vet that has not seen her to decide. I will wait for her to come back. So here is a picture update from first day to today.

Today we lost 😭Jenifee (Jenny) to cancer. She passed away on her own between 11-11:30. Her bonded boyfriend Shaggy is really missing her. I feel bad for him. She was having trouble with weight the past few days. I will miss her deeply my little Jenifee. 😢 Run with Sophie and Mystique in fields of green. ❤️💔❤️💔

UPDATE on the 2 almost 3 month kitten Brighid. The Dr wants to see if the eye can heal itself, so we giving her antibiotics. She said if the eye doesn't heal then she can remove it later. So here is a picture update from first day til today. If you have not read the post below this one, please do. It contains more information about the procedure. Hi Everyone!
We wanted to give an update on the 2 month old kitten with the ruptured eye named Brighid. She was badly infected in her eye and upper respiratory. Her eye cannot be saved. She is going in on Tuesday evening for eye removal. We are looking for donations to help cover the medical procedure. The estimated cost is listed as $2014.93. Running a 501c3 non profit with all the animals, we do not have this amount readily available. We need your help! Every donation counts even $1! Your donation is totally tax deductible. I have been treating her with antibiotics since Sunday night and got rid of the fleas. I do have pictures of her before and today so you can see the results so far and the Vet bill (low end is no surgery but she needs it).
If you wish to make a donation directly to the Animal Emergency Hospital on Forest Oak it will not be deductible ☹️ because they are not a 501c3. You can donate through paypal, venmo, cash app or zelle directly to Shady Hills Animal Rescue and those donations are tax deductible.

Bought a bee hive off ebay. We do not have any honey bees on my property and I need some. My papaya trees flower but no fruit cause no pollination. It is based like the flow hive where the honey collects at the top and you turn a large key to get the honey to flow out. Here's some pics
