Ginger is our first kitty to participate in our pilot senior program and we are pleased to announce that she is continuing to do well. Our "senior cats for seniors" program helps seniors to adopt senior cats by providing support in the way of food, litter, vet care and other issues that may arise. We hope to expand this program next year. If you are a senior and would like to adopt a senior cat, please let us know. If you would like to volunteer by helping provide support to our seniors, we would love to have you on our team. PM us for details.

Lilly needs a forever home. She was abandoned at a home in Hudson. Unfortunately, ACADD ran out of foster homes after taking on the support of 25 cats from this relief project . Neighbor, Mary Hubbard, has worked hard to ensure Lilly is ok since she had to continue living outside. She gave her flea meds, worm meds, food, water, lots of love and a trip to planned pet hood for her spay. Today she is ready for her new home but she is timid around people. She loves other cats and will fit in with a friendly crowd. She seems as if she has been abused or hit by people because she retracts her head when you go to pet her. Can you show this kitty that not all humans are mean? Can you give her a good life that she can trust she will be loved and protected. She doesn’t need a lot of space.. just a lot of love. PM us if you can help Lilly get to her next place in life. Adoption fees are waived with an approved application.

Some call it crazy, we call it love. My cat saved me, and I'll spend my life doing the same for them. ❤️

Venice has been adopted! She’s doing well in her new home with her adoptive mom, who accepts that Venice has stomatitis and will need all of her teeth removed. Venice will travel to Harmony of Oldsmar on Monday to begin consultations for her surgery. We love new beginnings! We wish both mom and kitty the best!

We’re not broken but your jewelry is! Save your scraps for us! Broken chains, lost pairs, your ex-spouses wedding rings…the stuff laying around in your jewelry box. Gold and silver is at a premium and your junk jewelry can help us save lives. Venice (below) will need all of her teeth extracted. This is due to a disease called Stomatitis. We are collecting junk gold and silver jewelry to pay for her surgery. If you would like to donate to help Venice, please pm us for pick up details. All proceeds will go towards Venice’s surgery and to other animals needing extra help. All donations are tax deductible. As always, we appreciate your support for the animals ❤️

Our pretty Amelia is up for pre-adoption now! This little cutie was found screaming to the top of her lungs in a flower pot. -No mother or siblings around. We think she may have been dropped by a bird (the stork) and landed perfectly in a large flower pot all by herself. She yelled and yelled until we went over and found her. Since then, She has been nurtured and bottle-fed by our loving foster mom, Sheri. Today she is about 6-7 weeks old. She will be receiving her fvrcp, FIV combo test, and a voucher for her spay and microchip at PetLuv. She can go to her new home at 8 weeks. If you have been waiting for a bottle baby she's purrfect. Contact us asap to set your meet n greet.

Who We Are: Alley Cats and Desert Dogs Relief Project is a Florida non-profit, 501c3 organization, dedicated to the welfare of feral cats and dogs. We are headquartered in Spring Hill, Florida and we use social media to promote our cause.
What We Do: We provide rescue support and TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) relief projects, helping to reduce the overpopulation and suffering of cats and dogs that cannot be adopted. We also provide aftercare, helping to feed feral colonies and taking sick, or injured, animals to our partnering veterinary clinics. We work with small and large colonies of cats, locally, and provide funding when and where needed for feral and stray dogs. We offer a voice to feral dogs and cats living in the deserts of the Middle East and other geographic locations, where there are no shelters.
How We Came Together: We saw the need for animal rescue and TNR when we traveled around the world. We traveled and worked in areas where there were no shelters in place to help feral animals. It was a heart-breaking experience to see the destruction of healthy and beautiful cats and dogs. We decided that we had to help. Our initiative is to start self-funding rescue support programs in every city in the world, using social media to create awareness, and to sell our donated household items. And we are growing! Starting in Hernando County, Florida in 2018, we have just expanded to serve Hattiesburg, MS and Wilmington, NC. And we promise, we won’t stop there!
TNR has been proven to be the best method to bring down the numbers of stray animals, as well as keeping the stray population friendly. Please visit our website to see how you can join in and help. Help us help them!
