The new cafeteria construction is well underway. This new addition to the school expansion project will create a safe space for students to interact and engage, while also serving as a space for the community to utilize. In our most recent visit, the Faces for Hope team was able to check in on the progress of the building and meet the wonderful people running the construction site. While we have raised so much support for this project, we still need

Faces for Hope is so grateful to our city, Spokane, that hosts our admin team, many of our donors, and a space to work towards our mission. Due to the recent Spokane fires, there has been devastating loss in our community. The Faces for Hope team is safe, but there are many families in Spokane now left without a home to return to. We ask that you join us in prayer for the overwhelming loss the city is experiencing. If you are going through a loss or are currently displaced, please know we are praying for you. We are so grateful for this community’s support and we are praying for grace through these trying times.

It’s pretty remarkable what $50 a month can do for one of these girls in Tanzania… You’ll see above just a few of the supplies they receive along with the opportunity to attend boarding school (which they love!). Education in Africa holds the opportunity for each young girl to choose a career, their husband, and family when they are ready. 💌 Instead of being sold as a child bride, they receive hope for a bright future ahead.
