California continues to lead the U.S. innovation economy 💡

A new report from Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Council of State Bioscience Associations (CSBA), and TEConomy Partners found that California remains the largest bioscience employer out of any other state in the nation, with an overall industry employment 25% above the national average.

That translates to hundreds of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity across the state. Leadership like that doesn't sustain itself; it depends on policies that support our nation's global leadership in the life sciences. If policymakers are serious about beating China in the global race for cures, we must stop putting American bioscience at a disadvantage and start championing the innovation that makes our industry the envy of the world.

Yesterday, we joined founders, executives, investors, researchers, healthcare leaders, and ecosystem partners at the Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit to explore what it takes to turn scientific breakthroughs into scalable companies and real-world impact. 💡
