I have to admit, playing Magic at 9am feels a little strange, but we had a blast!

Thanks for everyone who came out! Special shoutout goes to my buddy Jacob who joined as a teacher/fqcilitator. We LOVE our volunteers and try to treat them well with gifts and such!

Be on the lookout for more events in the future!

*If you (a teen) would like to play outside of official Library events, we can do that! Just note that the library only sponsors official events, not tutor/play sessions like these. If you’re interested please have a Parent or Guardian contact us!!* We do NOT talk directly with teens through social media, etc., especially teens new to the group.

Today is the day for regular club play! Plenty of learn-to-play options as well as playing 1:1 games or commander group (4 ppl) play.

Don’t forget! This Saturday from 9a-12p at Slinger Library we will also have some open-play or a constructed event, depending on attendance.

Experienced players; stop by if you have time to give a hand/tips/pointers. We certainly don’t have a monopoly over teaching beginners lol. Otherwise, send some younger and/or newer players to the Slinger Community Library, and let’s nurture the next generation of MTG players, unless they want to play mono-blue…

It looks like it is a great way to make MTG more inclusive / welcoming to a wide variety of folks other than “Cis-Males”, and I have signed MindField up to partner with them. Be on the look out for more information, and take a look for yourself!

We have been working with a local, Magic playing, 3D printer having, and overall great guy in order to develop some accessories that will eventually be for sale- with all profits supporting the club!

They’re here! I needed some business cards, and as I was designing them, I decided that MindField Gaming should give new players goodies (Decks, accessories, etc).

New players- Come hang out with us! We are always teaching and playing the 4th Wednesday each month at Slinger Library as well as other community events. All you have to do is show up, and have fun. There will be “double punch” events, and some more surprises along the way.

Basic breakdown of deck giveaways are on the punch cards. Subject to facilitator discretion, decks may be handed out “early” or running behind because it takes a while to build decks lol

Not available Wednesdays? Shoot us a message, and we may be able to make time to do small group teaching, etc (I.e. one player this week would like to play Monday and/or Tuesday, so we are doing our best to accommodate.) 😊

Intermediate-Advanced folks- you are always invited to come hang with the new players and show them the ropes, help sort/build giveaway decks (or donate decks you haven’t used in forever), and just enjoy some good company while passing on the gift of the game.
