👍🏻A HUGE THANK YOU to volunteers Ken, Carol, Jim and Dave for their swift response to a local child in need.

Following an 8:30 am phone conversation with a foster mom who, with little notice, was on her way to bring home another foster child, our team stepped up and were able to deliver a set of bunk beds to the family home at 4 pm that same day. 🛏️🛏️

This team exemplifies the SHP mission, “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town”. 💙

September has been an AMAZING month for our chapter!
🛏 We delivered 6 beds to kids
🔨 We had our first full-scale bed build with a great crew of volunteers
💸 We received several significant donations to help fund our mission
📣 We are hearing from lots of people in the community who believe in the mission and want to help us grow

Support from the community can take many forms. Today we are asking our followers to spread the word about our FREE bed program. We want families to know that they can easily apply for a bed for a child in their household. If you're involved in a church or community organization serving families or children, please share our website or Facebook information. Click the link below and look for the button that says "Apply for a Bed"
Together, we can make sure that no kid sleeps on the floor in Washington County, WI! 😴 🛌
