Boone Hartford Hot Shots The Hartford Hotshots is a scholastic shooting team associated with the Scholastic Action Shooting Program.

Our athletes compete both individually and in squads in various shooting disciplines.

I'm a little late with this, but our team had a great finish at the Wisconsin Fall Regional.
Our Varsity & Open squads swept the medals taking GOLD in all 11 guns! We took GOLD as a Squad in: Rimfire Pistol Iron Sights, Rimfire Pistol Optics, Centerfire Pistol Iron Sights, Centerfire Pistol Optic, Rimfire Revolver, Centerfire Revolver, 1911, “Ultimate”, Rimfire Rifle Iron Sights, Rimfire Rifle Optic and Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC).

Out Intermediate (middle school age) division Rimfire Pistol Iron Sights squad also took GOLD. Our other Open Division (mixed ages) squads took Silver in all 3 rifles; Rimfire Rifle Iron Sights, Rimfire Rifle Optic and Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC).

We also had great individual finishes cleaning up on the HOA (Highest Overall Athlete) medals.
Men’s Centerfire Pistol: Lucas Opitz GOLD, with Tommy Hurda missing Bronze by 0.39 seconds
Men’s Rimfire Pistol: Lucas Opitz GOLD, Colton Cammack SILVER
Lady’s Rimfire Pistol: Claire Forrester SILVER
Men’s PCC: Colton Cammack GOLD, Tommy Hurda SILVER and Lucas Opitz BRONZE
Men’s Rimfire Rifle: Lucas Opitz GOLD, Colton Cammack SILVER with Tommy Hurda missing Bronze by 0.27 seconds
Lady’s Rifle Divisions: no medals but our ladies Livi Vandervest and Claire Forrester took 4th and 5th place in both rifle division just missing the Bronze HOA medals in each.

All total the HotShots came home with 12 GOLD Medals and 3 SILVER Medals at the squad level and 4 GOLD, 4 SILVER and 1 BRONZE medals as individuals
