We love our pollinators and the flowers that feed them! Here’s a look around the farm to see which plants are currently blooming.

While important to note that plants like feverfew, comfrey, and cinquefoil are not native to North America, they’re grown on our farm to not only serve pollinators, but also to provide medicinal benefits and practical uses in our farming!

One of the best things about being a small farm is finding ways to reuse and reduce waste! If you purchased seedlings from us this season, we would love to take back your 2-inch black pots and six-packs. Simply leave them in a pile by the front gate anytime, and we’ll reuse them in next year’s growing season.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept other pot sizes from seedlings purchased elsewhere, as they don’t fit our trays and growing system.

Thank you for helping us keep things a little greener!

New roof alert! Our high tunnel plastic tore and blew away in one of the winter wind storms. The new roof was installed last week by pulling the plastic over top, and securing the frame with wiggle wire. Huge thanks to our volunteers and GRGT members for helping out!

For those wondering: the old plastic is being recycled in our back fields- being used to suppress invasive weeds as we work on restoring the prairie to what it was.

Tomato planting day! Favorable weather and our new roof provided the perfect conditions to get our cherry tomatoes in the ground. A big thanks to our volunteers for helping with the planting today 🙌🏻
