The EL Riad Shrine Clown Unit was established in 1955 and has been bringing fun and frivolity to the El Riad Shrine Temple for over 50 years. The Clown Unit is the face of our Temple and the men who have come before us have set the foundation and standard for the clowns of the 21st century. The Clowns have been award winning for many years and continue to bring home accolades from Midwest sessions

and Imperial Sessions. The Clowns have a cornucopia of fun equipment that they employ for parades across the Midwest . It includes a CANNON and calliope with six calliope horses along with the teeter totter and speedboat. These are just a few of the many hilarious tools the EL Riad Shrine Clowns have in their arsenal of comedic relief.
