People fill churches every week, and by the end are eager to go see how their sports team is doing.
They check their stocks like it’s what’s keeping them breathing.
They eagerly wait to see the next episode of the show they’ve been binge watching.
They know what software, fashion line, opening restaurant, etc. has for their next release date and every detail.
They can’t wait to see the big name consultant, celebrity, etc.
Meanwhile, few show that same hunger to know the scriptures, to speak with the Lord, to tell someone about Jesus, to gather with the saints, to clear space in their week to mentor and disciple.
Friends, where our treasure is our heart will be also. We give our attention to what we have invested in. Are we really as Kingdom minded as we like to say? Or do we simply like to know many things about the Lord and equate that to walking with Him?
