Great weekend at the Rendezvous Spring Camporee at Camp Cedars! The Scout had lots of activities. We worked on Toten Chit & Fireman Chip training. Also learning how to raise and lower a flag! Meals were good and it was a fun time even in the rain!

What a wonderful Camporee! Troop 565 participated in almost all of the events which included: slingshot, first aid, tennis ball, and frisbee challenge,.22 rifle, archery, Tomahawk, and throwing knives. The four Scouts that attended, it was a very first time and they all did a great job at all of the events. Troop leadership is very proud of them. Thank you to all who help volunteerd at the Camporee at the different stations!

Congratulations to Keegan C. of Troop 565 who received his Eagle Scout rank today. Keegan's Eagle Service project was building a platform for his church where a storage container could reside. It included building shelving inside, making repairs to the container and painting it. Keegan has been a Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 565 and a great leader. Congratulations!
