Last night, Drs. Robert P. George and Cornel West — distinguished scholars and leading voices in American public life — joined us in the Elmen Center in front a crowd of more than 1,300 people 👏

The two — known for their friendship and collaboration, as well as their commitment to principled dialogue across differences — were part of Augustana's fourth annual Critical Inquiry & Citizenship Colloquium.

Supported by Rosemarie and the late Dean Buntrock, the colloquium is designed to promote civil discourse and deep reflection.

A HUGE "thank you" to all those who came out!

For nearly 40 years, Dr. Sandra Looney, professor emerita of English, taught hundreds of students how to explore the world and internalize global perspectives that would forever impact their worldview.
