Ever heard “that won’t work here”? Kaylee Williams has, and she built something anyway.

Kaylee is the face of Iowa Startup Week and our first keynote speaker at Spark Week. She’s a former Investment Director at InnoVenture Iowa, where she oversaw nearly 50 investments in early-stage Iowa companies, more than $18M in all. Before that, she co-owned VolunteerLocal, a volunteer software company that has served millions of volunteers around the world, and she helped build the first customer base at Roboflow, a Y Combinator-backed startup.

If anyone knows how to build right where you are, it’s her.

Come hear her Thursday morning, November 12, and bring the people who need to hear it too.

Spark Week 2026 is one week away, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Explore Siouxland for sponsoring! Their support helps us bring business owners from across the region to downtown Sioux City for four days of keynotes, breakout sessions, and a pitch competition.

But more than that, Explore Siouxland has everything an out-of-town visitor needs to plan their trip to the area! There are itineraries and visitor guides available to access on their website - and even if you live right here, I guarantee you'll find new things to check out that you never even knew existed!
