👑 A new chapter for River-Cade Royalty! 👑

Earlier this month, we proudly crowned our new Queen of the River and two Princesses - continuing a River-Cade scholarship tradition that dates back to the 1960s. 💙

To our outgoing royalty: ✨thank you✨ for representing River-Cade and the Siouxland community with such wonderful leadership throughout your year. We’re grateful for the time, energy and heart you brought to the crown!

And to every young woman who participated in this year’s program - we are so proud of you. Over several days of interviews, speeches, learning and personal growth, each candidate stepped outside her comfort zone and invested in herself and her future. We can’t wait to see where your educational goals take you! 🎓✨

Congratulations to our incoming royalty, who each received an educational scholarship as part of this longtime River-Cade tradition. We’re excited for the year ahead! 👑

👑 Coronation Day is here! 👑

It's hard to believe the moment has arrived!

Our River-Cade Royalty finalists have spent the week representing River-Cade at the Downtown Parade, Ice Cream Social, and Youth Smile Contest Finals before wrapping up their final day of judging yesterday. From personal interviews to prepared and impromptu speeches, these outstanding young women have showcased their confidence, leadership, and dedication to our community every step of the way.

✨ A great morning of learning, leadership, and inspiration! ✨

Today, our 2026 River-Cade Royalty finalists kicked off their interview process by hearing from an incredible group of women who shared their experiences and encouraged these young leaders to grow personally, professionally, and within our community.

🎉 One of Siouxland's favorite summer traditions is almost here!

The 2026 River-Cade Downtown Parade returns on Wednesday, July 29, bringing an evening of colorful floats, community spirit, music, local organizations, businesses, and hometown pride to downtown Sioux City.

Now is the time to register your parade entry!

Whether you're a business, nonprofit, school, club, sports team, or community organization, we'd love to have you be part of the celebration.
