Two weeks away from our Flatbread Fundraiser Night and we're getting excited! 🙌🍕

On Tuesday, June 2 from 5-9 PM, head over to Flatbread Company in Canton, CT and make your dinner do a little extra good.

Every pizza sold and every raffle basket purchased helps fund CREATE Independence, our program dedicated to helping individuals with varying abilities build the real-life skills they need to thrive. 💛

We walked the trails, had lunch by the pond, and wrapped up another great week together.

Whether it's learning to show up on time, follow workplace expectations, and work as part of a team, or staying focused on a task, managing your time, and seeing a project through to completion, every moment here is training for the everyday.

We had the best time rolling strikes, picking up spares, and cheering each other on all day long. 🙌

In honor of World Stationery Day, Ms. Deb led us through making our very own paper completely from scratch. We shredded it, blended it, strained it, added color and seeds, pressed it into cookie cutter shapes, and set it all out to dry. 🌱

Weekly outings are our favorite kind of life skill 🎮💛

Getting out in the community, trying new things, and just having a blast together is exactly what CREATE Independence is all about. Last week we hit the arcade at Spare Time, and let's just say we brought our A game. 🕹️

Building independence looks different every day and sometimes it looks like this. 🙌

We love finding fun ways to get out, connect, and just enjoy life together. That's the whole point.
