The Abigail Zittoun Family Foundation, Inc.

is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, established in honor of our daughter, Abby, who passed away in 2024 at age 13 after a seven-year battle with cancer. Throughout her years of cancer treatments and setbacks, Abby continued to lead her life with joy and love, inspiring and impacting everyone around her. AZFF's mission is to bring joy, love and impact to families of critically ill childre

n, through financial support to individual families and other nonprofit organizations. AZFF also provides scholarships to high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education or training who demonstrate the qualities of joy, love and impact.

We are so proud to partner with Andrew’s Ohana Foundation and the Reach for the Stars Survivorship clinic at Connecticut Children’s to honor these incredible survivors and help them on their way to make a tremendous impact on their communities. Abby loved to read. The library was her place. Today we had the honor of dedicating a section of the Latimer Lane Elementary School library to Abby. The section includes books she escaped into and stories she treasured, from kindergarten through 6th grade. Our hope is that Latimer students cherish these books too and that, when they ask about Abby, they are told about a strong, confident girl who really loved to read 💜💜 Thank you Mike Luzietti, Kristen Brighenti and the entire Latimer staff for making this vision a reality.
