1st and 2nd Girls at NEIRA’s. 1st Girls finished 5th in their heat beating the 11th seed. 2nd Girls finished 3rd in their heat and qualified for the petite finals and finished 11th overall, 3 places better than their seed!! We are so proud of all of you!! You raced well, but you were even better teammates cheering each other on and helping throughout the day. Thank you to all the parents, athletes and alumni who came out to support the team.

SIimsbury brought home hardware from CPSRA Championships on Sunday at Lake Waramaug! Girls’ 2V won silver. Novice boys took home bronze. Huge congrats to both crews. We could not be more proud of all of our athletes and how they rowed their hearts out to finish off the season. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the team.

Registration is live for summer rowing programs. Learn-To-Row camp (students entering grades 7-9) will be taught by Girls’ Head Coach Ashley Atencio. Sculling camp (for high school rowers) will be taught by veteran sculler and former SHS coach Paul Carabillo. Drop-in sessions with Boys’ Head Coach Ann Carabillo are for high school rowers entering grades 10-12.
