🚨 8 DAYS. THAT’S ALL WE HAVE. 🚨
On Friday, November 6, 17 dogs will board the Thanksgiving Freedom Bus for the final leg of their journey to their forever families. But before those wheels can turn, we have to get their transport fully funded. Every dollar must be in by Thursday, November 5.
And when you hear what these dogs have survived, you’ll understand why we cannot let this opportunity slip away.
This group is not made up of dogs who have simply had a rough start. These are dogs who have SURVIVED.
💔 Dogs who have suffered severe burns.
💔 Dogs whose injuries were so devastating that they had to have legs amputated.
💔 Days-old puppies dumped on the side of the road without their mama, left to survive in a world that had already failed them.
💔 Dogs who have endured emergency surgeries, pain, and uncertain futures.
💔 And one very pregnant mama, sitting in a shelter, ready to give birth to SEVEN babies at any moment. Seven tiny lives who deserve the chance to know warmth, safety, and love from their very first breath.
And yet, here they are. Still fighting. Still deserving. Still waiting for their happy ending.
Now, they are SO CLOSE. 🥹❤️
This Thanksgiving Freedom Bus is more than transportation. It is the final stretch between survival and a forever family. It is the bridge between a shelter kennel and a warm home. Between a painful past and a future filled with soft beds, full bellies, gentle hands, and people who will never let them down.
For these dogs, this ride could mean their first real chance at the life they should have had all along.
And for Mama Evie’s seven babies, it could mean a future that looks nothing like the circumstances they were born into.
17 dogs. 7 puppies. 24 potential lives changed forever.
But we cannot get them there alone.
