We are currently witnessing the daily erosion of LGBTQI+ rights. Throughout the nation, legislation is being enacted to strip away our hard-won protections, deny our very existence, and silence our voices. Our transgender siblings are facing unyielding assaults, with policies and language aimed at erasing us from society. The rights and dignity of our entire community hang in the balance.
At Pacific Northwest Black Pride (PNWBP), we refuse to remain passive while our people are targeted, erased, and deprived of the resources necessary for survival. We are intensifying our commitment to protect, uplift, and empower our community—but we cannot do it without your support.
As Prides around the world encounter increasing political and financial challenges, some are being compelled to reduce their activities or even close down entirely. In this crucial moment, it is more vital than ever to support the Prides that continue to exist and the sponsors who back them. At PNWBP, we do not take our role in this movement lightly.
Now is your opportunity to unite. To celebrate joy with your friends, family, allies, and chosen family. It’s a moment to remind the world that our pride is unbreakable and our power is unwavering.
PNWBP is a movement fueled by you. Whether you are an artist, a volunteer, a community partner, or a dedicated supporter — there is a place for you in this endeavor.
Take action now and become part of something greater.
