🎨 Unrestricted $5,000 Awards for WA Teaching Artists 🎨

Allied Arts Foundation is seeking WA-based visual artists who consider teaching a meaningful part of their artistic practice—whether through K–12 education, community arts programs, higher education, or other forms of teaching and learning.

Who can apply?
• Visual artists of any medium
• Artistic medium and teaching discipline can differ
• 18+ and living in Washington State
• Early- or mid-career artists
• Not currently enrolled as a student
• No teaching certificate required

Your application should demonstrate both your artistic practice and teaching experience. No project proposal, budget, or needs statement is required.

We want to thank the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture Seattle for their incredible support of our two arts events this year: the 2025 Artist Award Winners Ceremony on February 26, 2026 at ArtLove Salon and the 2026 Block Awards Ceremony at Gage Academy of Art on May 15, 2026. OAC's C.A.R.E. grant – Centering Art & Racial Equity – provides essential operating support that helps Allied Arts Foundation carry out arts programming and services in Seattle, including the administrative, production, outreach, and documentation work needed to make these events free and accessible to the public. We are grateful for this investment in Seattle’s artists, students, and creative community.
