With at least 18 nurses running for Congress and several running for the WA state legislature, it's clear that nurses are seeing we can't sit on the sidelines. Healthcare is a major issue on everyone's minds right now and a major focus of political campaigns. Learn more in this MedPage Today article.

"I think we are seeing a breaking point within the healthcare system," said Jacob Garcia, WSNA PAC chair. "Both regular people and those that work in the system know and see how unsustainable it is ... We're already seeing cracks, especially in rural communities; we're seeing hospitals close, big systems gobbling up everyone, and people trying to do more with less."
