Look, Listen and Learn TV (LLL) is a local educational programming non-profit, working in the tradition of Fred Rogers, to inspire early learning by applying brain development research to a locally produced children's television show. Increase school readiness among our pre-school age population; and enhance parent-child relationships through shared experiences. Look, Listen and Learn TV (LLL) use

s the latest brain development research to inspire interactive learning, creativity and cognitive development to those families and children where early learning is not emphasized in the home. In collaboration with King County Public, Educational and Government TV stations, LLL will be instrumental in pioneering early development programming, with a pace and tone that is highly conducive to comprehension learning, ideal for English learners. Through a live TV host, Auntie Lena and her puppet side-kick, Possum, they impart self-confidence and self-esteem to children in the loving tradition of Mister Rogers, Bob Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo) and Shari Lewis. Each 30 minute episode contains segments that foster skills such as;

• Story Time: pre-reading, problem solving
• Creative Corner: shapes, color
• Tasty Tidbits: measurements, math and food

General information

Studies have shown that good educational programming, like Sesame Street, Blues’ Clues, Dora the Explorer, Arthur, Clifford, and Dragontales, can help kids learn and can even show positive academic effects later in post-secondary school and in high school. Look, Listen and Learn TV (LLL) uses the latest brain development research to inspire interactive learning, creativity and cognitive development to those families and children where early learning is not emphasized in the home.
