Grassroot Projects

Grassroot Projects Non Profit Organization Children are our future. It is our responsibility to nurture and provide them with the platform to achieve success.

We, at Grassroot Projects, want them to enjoy childhood and make them feel special and wanted. Our motto is "Small Projects, Big Dreams". Many immigrants that come to the United States don't have the support they need. Lots of them have been forced to take asylum in a new country and come here as refugees. They struggle to resettle and work hard to fulfill their basic needs. Even though there are

great organizations helping them with their resettlement process, there are not many organizations that are focused on their children's specific needs. We want to empower under resourced and immigrant children by providing them with the needs to succeed. The needs range from basic ones such as food and clothing; to more specific needs such as funding for school supplies, summer camps, tutoring, and the ability to pursue their passions. Although our organizations' main focus at present is to help children belonging to the immigrant community, we would like to extend our services to encompass other under resourced children who need assistance to thrive and succeed as they grow.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Safe, Strong & Heard 💜

This meaningful workshop, presented by Grassroot Projects in partnership with Tu refugio seguro created a safe space for mothers and daughters to learn, connect, and have important conversations around abuse prevention, safety, and empowerment.

We are grateful to Irina P. Sorells for leading such an impactful session and to all the families who participated. This would not be possible without the support of our board member Eva Gonzalez Suner. Together, we continue building stronger and safer communities. ✨
