Kitten season is in full effect. Kotor Kitties strives to spay/ neuter as many stray cats as we can to help end this cycle. In May, we have spayed/ neutered a total of 163 cats, including 111 females and 52 males. Imagine each of these females would have given birth to 6 kittens this season. That would be 666 kittens we have prevented from being born homeless!

The smallest kitty weighed 1.9 kg (4.2 pounds) and the largest was a good-sized 5.2 kg (11.5 pounds).

With many thanks to our wonderful vets, for their hard work and giant discounts to Kotor Kitties to help us maintain the volume, and to our delightful donors, most of whom are far away, but trust us to see that their funds are well spent. And thanks, too, to the many local Montenegrins and expats who continue catching cats. You know who you are, and how you're helping to change the lives of the cats!

Kitten season is upon us. Kotor Kitties strives to spay/ neuter as many stray cats as we can to help end this cycle. In the first half of May, we have spayed/ neutered a total of 94 cats, including 65 females and 29 males. Imagine each of these females would have given birth to 6 kittens this season. That would be 390 kittens we have prevented from being born homeless!

The smallest kitty weighed 1.9 kg (4.2 pounds) and the largest was a good-sized 5.1 kg (11.2 pounds).

The poor cat is on its way to the vet after Sam Williams has collected it today.

UPDATE : Thursday 14th May - evening . I have not heard any more regarding this poor cat. We can definitely start a fundraiser for it if someone is able to collect it 💔

This poor cat, which seems to be suffering from some sort of tumour above his eye, is at the Cheese Shop above the ladder of Kotor.

Could anyone local try and help it go to the vet (VetPort in Skaljari) to receive the medical care it deserves. Those working at the Cheese Shop are not bothered by him sadly.

The tourist who messaged the situation in has already bought a carrier but when she went back the cat was not there. She will return back home shortly.

UPDATE: Can you help gather these kittens and take them to VetPort for basic care? We have someone willing to fund the vet bills for the kittens and the adults at this location! there is also a potential adopter for the kittens!!

These cutest kittens are available for fostering or adoption!

Currently located at Kotor Bus Station they’re friendly and could be easily a lovely family pet.

We’ve received a message from someone who has recently moved into the area whose cat has escaped. She is desperate for a trap to try and catch it .
