Student Music Initiatives SMI is a high school student-led non-profit organization that runs charity concert events. With your help, we'd like to show how music makes a difference.

Student Music Initiatives is a student led non-profit organization that connects student leaders, young musicians, and local volunteers dedicated to making an impact in our community. SMI was founded in 2011 as a holiday-themed fundraising event known as "Christmas Music For the Cure," and was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2013 by Daniel Briggs, Stuart Wang, and Alex Yang

. Currently, Student Music Initiatives looks to continue "Christmas Music for the Cure" through its fifth successful year of operation, as well as expand the organization to include new events and locations.
