THE NEXT GENERATION ISN'T WAITING FOR THE FUTURE. THEY'RE BUILDING IT NOW.

At Fathers and Sons Together (FAST), we believe our young people deserve more than encouragement. They deserve opportunities, mentorship, meaningful experiences, and spaces where their voices are heard and their potential is nurtured.

Through our Next Generation Leadership United (NGLU) program, we're investing in young leaders, helping them develop real-world skills, build confidence, explore their passions, and discover the power they have to make a difference in their communities.
Because when we invest in our youth, we're not just changing individual lives. We're strengthening families, building community, and creating pathways for generations to come.

Their voices matter. Their leadership matters. Their FUTURE matters.

Leadership Means Showing Up for Community

We are proud of our Executive Director, Cathie Wilmore, for representing Fathers and Sons Together (FAST) at Seattle Night Out 2026 – Rainier Beach!

Cathie continues to lead by example—showing up, building relationships, supporting our youth and families, and working alongside the people and organizations committed to making Rainier Beach stronger and safer.

Community leadership is more than a title. It’s about being present, listening, connecting, and serving. Cathie embodies that commitment in the work she does every day.

Thank you to everyone who came together for a beautiful evening of community, connection, safety, food, music, and neighborhood pride. 💙

Youth leading by example!

Fathers and Sons Together (FAST) was proud to partner for this year’s National Night Out at the Rainier Beach Safeway—and our NGLU students truly stole the show.

From greeting neighbors and holding down our table to rolling up their sleeves for setup and teardown, our youth showed up with purpose and energy. A huge shout out to our student interning with the SPD Community Service Officer (CSO) department for representing both FAST and CSO with so much pride! 💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect. The future is bright when our youth lead the way!

Real safety comes from strong, organized communities.

This National Night Out, FAST is teaming up with community partners in Rainier Beach to say no to division and yes to community action against gun violence.

Bring your family, connect with your neighbors, and be a part of the solution.
