Is your student heading to Mercer Middle School this fall? Transitioning to middle school is a big milestone, and the Mercer PTSA is here to welcome you to the Mustang family! Joining us is the absolute best way to connect with other families, meet school staff, and stay in the loop.

Advocacy Alert- Sign the Petition: Allow SPS Teachers to Attend Graduations!
Seattle Public Schools scheduled 2pm downtown graduations for Franklin, Roosevelt, and Garfield — then CANCELED early release, forcing teachers to stay on campus during ceremonies.
This is wrong.
Teachers mentor, support, and pour their hearts into our students. They deserve to be there when those students walk across the stage.
SIGN THE PETITION to ask SPS:
Reinstate early release,
or Arrange Central Office staff to cover classrooms,
or Find solutions so teachers can attend 2pm ceremonies.
Our graduates deserve to see the teachers who helped get them there. Our teachers deserve to celebrate with their students.

Support Mercer: A portion of each ticket sale supports the Mercer PTSA and our school programs.
Community: Sit with other Mustang families and enjoy a great Saturday at T-Mobile Park.

Ticket Delivery: Keep an eye on your inbox! Tickets will be emailed out after May 1st.

🏁 Final Push! Help Mercer reach our $10,000 goal for the Move-A-Thon!

We are officially in the final countdown, and we need your help right now to reach our $10,000 goal.

With the Move-A-Thon ending tomorrow, April 4th, we are making an urgent plea for donations to help Mercer cross the finish line. Before we dive into the final numbers, we want to give a huge shout-out to the incredible volunteers and helpers who planned and ran the Mercer Carnival on Thursday night! It was a fantastic event that brought our community together and gave a massive boost to our fundraising efforts. Thank you for your hard work and energy!

Now, we need to keep that momentum going. As the SE Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) works toward a collective $600,000 goal, every dollar we raise at Mercer is critical—especially as our schools face significant looming budget cuts.

These funds ensure our students have access to after-school programs, music equipment, classroom supplies, and essential school events.
