📣 JOY TO THE CITY Update!

❄️ It was so special seeing the collaboration of teammate’s and our students giving back through our Christmas Show! The Mission Scranton Christmas Show and Fundraiser was such an encouraging and fun event shared with our teammates, partners, students, parents, and community! 🙌 Our Giving Week brought in $7,551 in total! THANK YOU for your generosity to invest in our 2026 student ministry!

💪 NEXT STEP GOAL: This week, help us raise $1,225 to reach our $5,000 dollar-for-dollar matching gift goal while also doubling your gift! We are currently over 50% of the way of reaching our overall $15,000 goal to fund our 2026 winter and spring student ministry!

🙌 So far with our dollar-for-dollar matches, we have raised $3,938 for our 2026 winter/spring ministry! Our goal is to raise $15,000 before the end of the year.

We’re excited to bring JOY to the city and you this Saturday! We have a unique opportunity where our ministry and students will give back and share encouragement with you all! At this Christmas event, we will have encouragement from…

🎹 Northeast Worship Band, consisting of members from different local churches in the northeast. (First photo with most of the band members).

🎭 Christmas Play, led by Hope Showers and performed by our teen students. (Second photo of most of our group).

🥁 Electric City Steel Drum Project group, that will consist of the regular local members and our students who have been doing lessons this past year (third photo of our students at one of their lessons).

🍪 Free Cookies, Hot Chocolate, and Coffee!

🎁 We will be sharing the message of Jesus, updates of God’s work in our ministry, and ways to share in giving!
