Take a stroll along the bilingual Storybook Trail, then take home your own copy of Mama Opossum's Misadventures!

The storybook trail includes 12 large 'pages' located along the path between Ledbetter Pond and the Wolf Cabin, made possible by Friends of Oatland Island and a generous local benefactor. The Gift Shop carries the same book and several options from author Gina Gallois.

We're looking for volunteers this Saturday, June 20th to help with our Smokin' Hot Dadventure Father's Day Fundraiser! 🔥👨‍👧‍👦

This fun-filled family event can't happen without amazing community volunteers. There are plenty of ways to get involved, including:

⏰ Gate closure time change: Starting today, the front gate at Oatland Island will now close at 3:30pm.

But don’t worry, once you’re inside, you’ll still have until 4:30pm to explore the trails, visit the animals and enjoy all of the amazing nature around the park. 🌿🐾

So plan your visit accordingly and come spend part of your day with us at Oatland Island!
