Saratoga Music Boosters

Saratoga Music Boosters The goal of these programs is to encourage a love of music and to provide opportunities for students in all grade levels to develop their musical skills.

Founded in 1973, SMB aims to provide the best musical opportunities in supporting the instrumental (concert band, marching band, jazz band, woodwind/percussion ensemble, orchestra), choral, and color guard programs in SUSD and at Saratoga High School. Saratoga Music Boosters works with Saratoga Union School District (SUSD) and Saratoga High School (SHS) to provide music programs for students in grades 4 through 12.

🇯🇵 Japan Tour Day 11

Kobe ➝ Hiroshima 🚄

Today we visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park—a powerful and humbling reminder of the importance of peace. 🕊️ May we never forget, and may the world always choose peace.

Ended the day with a wonderful group dinner and great company. ❤️

Tomorrow is the final concert of our Japan music tour. Feeling grateful for every moment and excited to give it our all one last time. 🎶✨

🇯🇵 Day 9: Kyoto ➡️ Kobe
From historic Kyoto to vibrant Kobe, ending the day with a wonderful Friendship Concert with Takigawa Daini High School at Akashi Civic Hall. Music truly brings people together. 🎶❤️✨🎵

🇯🇵 Day 8: Kyoto Relax Day 🎋✨

A choose-your-own-adventure kind of day! Some explored TeamLab, some wandered Kyoto, some went shopping, and a group joined Chavy for a morning run! 🏃‍♂️🥁

We spent the afternoon in the Bamboo Forest before ending the day together with a great group dinner!✨

Day 7 in Japan 🇯🇵

Travel day! 🚄

Took one last peek at Mt. Fuji before saying goodbye. 🗻 Still playing hide-and-seek with us — such a shy guy. 😆

Moving 300+ people onto a Shinkansen sounds like chaos, but our students and staff absolutely crushed it. Couldn’t be prouder of this group. ❤️

Next stop: Kyoto! ⛩️

Day 4 in Tokyo 🇯🇵

Started the day with the peaceful beauty of Meiji Shrine, wandered through the colorful streets of Harajuku, and ended up sharing music and making new friends with students from Ichikawa High School. 🎶✨

Wrapped up the day with an amazing shabu-shabu dinner in Shinjuku. A perfect mix of culture, connection, and delicious food!
