The Saratoga Education Foundation is so proud of our incredible community! A huge thank you to all the families, teachers, principals, district staff, and Board of Trustees who joined us for a fantastic morning of running the 5K and helped make this event possible.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous raffle prize donors and business sponsors. Your support made this event even more impactful.

And also, thank you to the many volunteers that gave their time and energy to make it such a special day!

Say "hi" to the SEF Labubu in downtown Saratoga! It is promoting our 5K Fun Run happening on Sunday Nov. 2. The 5K is a fundraiser to support programs at Redwood Middle School, Argonaut Elementary, Foothill Elementary, and Saratoga Elementary!

⏰ Early bird registration ends TONIGHT! 🐦
Come run (or jog... walk... stroll around!) the SEF 5K on Sunday November 2. Need motivation? We got you!
- It happens on the Sunday after Halloween, so you AND the kids can run off the candy calories🍬🍭
- It's on the Sunday where we turn back our clocks. Everyone will be up ONE HOUR EARLIER... might as well be productive and do a little exercise!
- The 5K goes around our very own neighborhood; no need to travel all the way to Chicago, New York or London to show off your calves and stamina! 🏃‍♂️
- There will be a raffle with awesome prizes (Front row promotion seats, anyone?!)
- It's for a GREAT CAUSE! The 5K is a fundraiser to support programs at all of our 4 schools!

SEF hosted a parent night with Keith Hawkins at the RMS school library. We had a great turnout for this hour-long session that covered communications strategies with teens and pre-teens! Earlier in the day, Mr. Hawkins also held an assembly with RMS students.

As part of SEF's ongoing enrichment programs, Saratoga Education Foundation (SEF) is offering a series of workshops and seminars for parents and students of SUSD. The next one is on Monday, March 17 with Mary Eschen who will host a workshop that will cover a variety of parenting topics. Mary is an ACC level coach and a former SUSD parent and has been lecturing and teaching practical parenting skills for over 10 years. Join Mary for a free, one-hour talk at Menlo Church (20455 Herriman Ave) at either 9:00am or 7:00pm at your convenience. SEF is hosting a donor appreciation event on Saturday, April 26 afternoon at a beautiful 🍷Local Vineyard🍷 in Saratoga.

Donors who contribute by April 5 will receive an invitation and additional information about the Donor Appreciation Event. We hope to see you there!

Please join us this Thursday 11/21 at 9 am at the District Office for our SEF General Meeting. We’ll be approving next year’s programs and budget, and Moira Barker, the District Superintendent’s Assistant, will share insights about the district’s emotional learning programs. Don’t miss it!
