Ahoy, MAP Families! SMASH’N 2025 is on the horizon!

Saratoga High School’s Media Arts Showcase Night—fondly known as SMASH’N—is our swashbuckling year-end celebration of all things MAP! From epic short films to bold graphic design, come witness the creativity our students have unleashed this year.

🎬 This year’s theme: Pirates of MAPlandia!
Yo ho, yo ho, a filmmaker’s life for me! Join us for an adventure-filled evening as we set sail through the cinematic seas of student work, pirate-style.

🗓 Friday, May 30
📍 McAfee Center
⏰ 6:30–9:00 PM (Doors open at 6:00)
🎟 Free admission for all
⚓️ Come cheer on our talented student pirates, explore their artistic treasures, and bid like a buccaneer in our silent auction! The auction kicks off at 6:00 PM and will remain open for 15 minutes after the show.

If your student is taking MAP-English as a freshman this upcoming year, we especially invite you to come get a sneak peek of what the Media Arts Program is all about.

Yo ho, yo ho, a filmmaker’s life for me! SMASH’N, the Saratoga Media Arts Showcase Night, is an awards night that culminates all the hard work that our wonderful MAP students have done all year, from graphic design to short films of every genre. This year’s show has a pirate theme and is entitled, “Pirates of MAPlandia.” 

SMASH’N  will be held at the McAfee on Friday, May 30, from 6:30 to 9:00pm. Doors open at 6, and attendance is free for everyone. Get ready for an adventure-filled evening of media as you sail the seven seas of MAPlandia!

Calling All MAP Parents – We Need Your Support!

As we gear up for the next school year, MAP Boosters needs your help! We’re looking for enthusiastic parent volunteers to join our team and continue supporting the incredible Media Arts Program at Saratoga High.
We have several open roles that are essential to ensuring our students have access to enriching experiences, industry speakers, creative projects, and exciting events. Most roles require just a few hours a month, and many can be done on a flexible schedule.

Open Positions for 2025-26:
* Treasurer (Board position)
* Assistant Treasurer (Board position)
* Webmaster
* VP of Communications
* Communications Committee
* SMASH’N Committee
* Fundraising Committee
* Speaker Series Committee
