Friends of Saratoga Spa State Park The Friends of Saratoga Spa State Park is a not for profit group formed to provide a voice for the park's unique and diverse resources.

We're a group of Park users whose efforts are dedicated to supporting and enhancing an irreplaceable component in the quality of life that the region provides. Our goal is to provide interesting opportunities for people to develop a special relationship with the Park and to contribute to its programs and stewardship. The Friends of Saratoga Spa State Park encourage you to join us in promoting and

maintaining the resources of Saratoga Spa State Park. The complex of historic buildings, landscaped malls and recreational facilities that the 2500 acre Park offers- all in a beautiful natural setting-make it a wonderful place for people to visit and use year-round. The Friends group shares a love of the Park and an appreciation of its inestimable value to the surrounding region. The Park's historic, natural, cultural and recreational facilities greatly enrich our lives. We want to make sure that these exceptional resources continue to exist today and in the future. As a member of the Friends group, you will become an essential partner in preserving and maintaining this National Historic Landmark. Yor donation to and interest in Saratoga Spa State Park will benefit both you and the surrounding community. Patrons have enjoyed Saratoga Spa State Park for over 100 years, and with your interest and commitment, visitors will be able to take pleasure in the Park for years to come.

💧11:00am: Accessible Mineral Springs Tour
🎼11:00am-12:00pm: The band Flame performs
📚12:00pm: Bilingual Story Time with Project Growing Minds. A special presentation of The Very Hungry Caterpillar featuring the book’s sensory elements – to touch, smell, and play with.

Quiet, secluded zones and sensory kits that contain noise-canceling headphones will be available.

COMING TO A PARK NEAR YOU: Get Outdoors and Get Together Day will be at more than 20 sites across New York State this Saturday, June 13.

Each site will have unique accessible and inclusive activities crafted for all ages.

Pool season is upon us!! Saratoga Victorian pool opens tomorrow!

And stay tuned for a(nother) Friends members-only event next month to see the newly renovated Peerless Pool Complex before it opens to the public!!

💧The Victoria Pool opens for the 2026 season at 10am on Saturday, May 23! 💧

The pool will operate weekends and holidays only from 10am-6pm through June 26. Daily operation (10am-6pm) begins Saturday, June 27.

Victoria Pool 2026 Admission
Adults - $8
Children - $4
Seniors - $4 (weekdays only, excluding holidays)

The Peerless Pool Complex, complete with a newly renovated kiddie pool and refurbished water slides, is scheduled to open for the season at 10am on Saturday, June 27.

A big thank you to Smith's Orchard Bake Shop for the delicious cider donuts and to Stewart's Shops for the coffee (and cups) that kept our volunteers fueled and energized. We’re so grateful for your support of our park and community!

The Lincoln Bathhouse at Saratoga Spa State Park (SSSP) is undergoing a transformation this year and restoring one of the wings to reflect its historic opening in 1930. We’re reaching out into the Saratoga Springs community for items from the Park or bathhouse of that era. Branded material is of particular interest, such as bath or hand towels, sheets, aprons, uniforms or bathrobes. Also of interest are personal artifacts such as photographs, receipts, physician prescriptions for treatment. We are also looking to document oral histories from attendants, guests, or employees of the park who were involved or participated in the original therapeutic experiences (or their descendants that know their stories!).

If you have an object or item with a related story, please send a clear photos(s) of the item and email Lisa Polay, Historic Sites Regional Supervisor, at [email protected] listing “Wing 6 Restoration Interest” in the subject line.
