We are grateful to receive a $25,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to expand our veteran workforce training programs.

The transition from military service to civilian life can bring financial difficulties and a loss of purpose. Through our Tactical Workforce Program, veterans receive both trauma-informed mental health support and hands-on workforce training to help them build stable, meaningful futures.

This funding will allow us to partner with Operation Lifeline, Inc. to expand into trade and construction skills training, creating new opportunities for veterans while helping address critical housing needs within the veteran community.

Thank you to the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for investing in those who have served. Together, we're helping veterans find healing, purpose, and a path forward! 🇺🇸

The SRQ Forward Foundation raised an incredible $51,068.83 for OWR at the Sarasota Wine Festival!! This will go directly into our site expansion at Warrior Spirit Ranch, allowing us to provide mental health and workforce support to military veterans and their family members for generations to come! Countless veteran families who are struggling will find healing, a renewed sense of purpose and have a place to gather in community, that’s so awesome (more than it already is!), they’ll want to be at Warrior Spirit Ranch all the time!

Our volunteers worked hard today at OWR’s Warrior Spirit Ranch, pulling weeds, mulching, and most importantly, creating a space where veterans will feel at home and receive healing. It’s especially meaningful when they come prepared to sweat because they say, “It’s what I receive by being here and being of service.” We are so grateful for our volunteers who make this mission possible! 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to everyone who supported OWR during the Giving Challenge!

Every two years, the Giving Challenge brings our community together around philanthropy—matching individual donations from $25–$100 during a 24-hour period. This year, our team rallied in an impressive way, reaching as many people as possible during that time to raise nearly $17,000 to support our military families programs.

Experiences like this are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a team is fully aligned and energized around the mission 🇺🇸
