Church Family and Friends,
Over the past few weeks, we have been deeply moved by the overwhelming support from our
community, local churches, and many partner organizations. Your prayers, financial gifts, and
words of encouragement have meant more than we can express. Thank you for standing with
us and supporting the work God is doing through Remnant.
During this time, we have continued to serve our homeless neighbors as faithfully as possible
while addressing zoning concerns and exploring legal options. We have remained in
communication with our friends at Sarasota Zoning Ordinance and have made adjustments to
our operations that we believe better align with their expectations, while still honoring
Christ’s call to care for those in need (Matt. 25:31–46).
Today we were notified that additional time has been granted for us to continue these efforts,
and the cease-and-desist order has been postponed until December 2nd. Because of this
extension, we will resume full operations beginning Monday, October 5th. All church
activities will continue as scheduled, including Bible Study/Discipleship on Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday afternoons, and our Worship Service on Saturday evening.
We remain committed to caring for every person God brings to us—meeting both spiritual
and physical needs with compassion and faithfulness. We are prayerful that this matter can
be resolved locally without further legal action. We are grateful for the responsiveness of our
local officials and for the time they have given us to work toward compliance without
compromising our religious freedom to live out our faith- serving Christ while serving others.

Bus transportation to the downtown area begins at 2:15pm
Campus closes at 4:00pm
Saturday
Fellowship and lunch begin at 12:30pm
Church service at 4:00pm
Dinner at 5:00pm
Bus transportation to the downtown area begins at 6:00pm
Campus closes at 6:30pm
We currently have an immediate need for donated blankets, clothing, sheets, and toiletries.
Please continue to support the café financially as the Lord leads. We look forward to
welcoming our volunteers and our homeless friends back next week.
