We are happy to announce that we will be having Moody Radio join us and will be covering Reason for the Season Christmas Concert!!! Moody Radio will be here with us on this ONE NIGHT ONLY event, and we hope you will join us. We are preparing for our 14th Annual Reason for the Season Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Oasis Church in Bradenton, and we need YOUR help! ❤️

This beautiful evening is more than just a Christmas concert. It is an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, and support the women and children of Prodigal Daughters Journey Home.

📸 Photo Booth Photographer – A photographer willing to donate their time to capture beautiful Christmas memories for our guests.

🎄 Christmas Decorations & Lights – Festive decorations, string lights, backdrops, and props to help create a magical Christmas photo booth.

🙌 Volunteers – We need helping hands for event setup, breakdown, guest check-in, seating assistance, raffle ticket sales, and hospitality.

👕 Volunteer T-Shirt Sponsor – A business willing to sponsor or donate matching T-shirts for our amazing volunteers.

🎟️ Raffle Prize Donations – Gift cards, gift baskets, family experiences, restaurant certificates, spa packages, and other exciting prizes.

💙 Thursday Thoughts: Raising the Next Generation 💙

📖 Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Our children are watching, listening, and learning from us every single day. But are we simply telling them how to live, or are we showing them through the way we live?

Training up a child isn't just about teaching right from wrong. It's about demonstrating love, patience, forgiveness, humility, and what it looks like to walk with the Lord.

Our children may not remember every word we speak, but they will remember how we loved them, how we responded in difficult moments, and whether we turned to God when life became overwhelming.

We cannot walk their journey for them, but we can plant seeds of faith, nurture their hearts, and trust God with their future. 🌱

At Prodigal Daughters Journey Home, we believe restoration doesn't stop with one generation. As mothers grow, heal, and learn to walk in God's truth, they have the opportunity to build a different foundation for their children.

✨ Today's reflection: Are we modeling the very things we are praying our children will become?

Lord, help us lead by example, love with patience, correct with wisdom, and raise children who know Your voice and follow Your ways. Amen. 🙏

🌿💙 Tuesday Talk | Who Is Guiding Your Steps?

As we begin our day, let us look to Who we are going to with questions. Something that the ladies learn here at Prodigal Daughters is to stop seeking people and things, and to seek Him above all else. Learning to 'not ask' and to seek God first is one of the best disciplines we can hold onto.

💙 God promises us that when we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him. When we wholeheartedly pursue His presence, seek His wisdom, and surrender our own understanding, He is faithful to reveal Himself to us.

📖 Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

✨ The question isn't whether God is there. It's whether we are seeking Him with our whole heart.

Yesterday, our Founder & CEO, Denise Gattuso, and Outreach Director, Camelia Corson, had the opportunity to share what God is doing at Prodigal Daughters Journey Home through the Hope Pathways quarterly meeting! 🙏✨

We are so grateful for opportunities to share our mission, spread awareness, and connect with others who have a heart for helping women and children find hope, healing, and a new beginning.

Thank you to Hope Pathways for the opportunity to share our heart and the work God is doing through this ministry!
