Last night’s happy hour was such a special reminder of what makes Santa Rosa Women for Good so meaningful ❤️

We gathered to celebrate our $10,000 milestone grant winners, Wiley's Wish, and spent the evening connecting with an incredible mix of women from across our community. In attendance were some of our regulars who come to most of our events, longtime members who pop in a few times a year when schedules allow, and a few brand new faces coming to learn what we’re all about.

One of the things we value most about this group is that it creates space for women to come together in a way that feels welcoming, flexible, and genuine. No pressure. No guilt trips. No feeling like this is just another obligation on your calendar. Women show up how, when and where they want!

We want Santa Rosa Women for Good to be a place women can turn to when they are looking for connection, community, and a chance to do some good along the way. As our group continues to grow, so does our ability to make a bigger impact together, and that is something worth celebrating.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night. We’re excited for what’s ahead ✨

Special thanks to Fieldwork Santa Rosa for welcoming us into your space!

We were proud to support the Generations in Motion event hosted by Council on Aging at Spring Lake over the weekend, a day focused on connection, movement, community, and enjoying the outdoors together 💚

It was inspiring to see people of all ages come together and to connect with so many incredible local organizations making a difference throughout Sonoma County.

At Santa Rosa Women for Good, we’re proud not only to support organizations like Council on Aging through our grants, but also to help create spaces where women of any age can build meaningful friendships, find community, and feel connected.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

What an inspiring evening at Philanthropy Together’s Circle Up in San Francisco ✨

Our Board President, Alex Hailey, joined giving circle leaders and nonprofit changemakers from across the Bay Area for conversations about collective giving, community impact, and the idea that philanthropy is truly for everyone.

One message stood out throughout the night: the connection and sense of community built through giving circles can be just as meaningful as the giving itself — something that deeply resonates with all of us at Santa Rosa Women for Good.

Girls night, but make it meaningful 👛✨

A group of our members had the best time at ladies night out seeing The Devil Wears Prada 2 with The Zane Templin Foundation —and yes, Women for Good may have taken over an entire row of the theater 🙌

Huge shoutout to our amazing members Fran and Tara, who run this incredible organization and invited us along for the fun. Nothing better than getting out, laughing together, and supporting a great cause all at the same time.

Proof that you really can have fun and do good 💖🍿

We’re so excited to share more about this special moment for our community ❤️

Our latest blog post highlights the story behind our $10,000 Grow the Good Spring Grant and the incredible work of Wiley's Wish, from rescuing dogs to creating powerful second chances through their prison-based training program.

This grant represents more than just funding, it’s the impact of 100 women coming together to support meaningful, local change.

Take a few minutes to read more about Wiley’s Wish, this grant cycle, and the lives being transformed on both ends of the leash 🐾

We are thrilled to announce that Wiley's Wish Animal Rescue has been selected as the recipient of Santa Rosa Women for Good’s $10,000 Grow the Good Spring Grant!

This grant marks a special milestone for our community as we celebrate reaching 100 members, and through the collective generosity of this group, we are proud to award our largest grant to date.

During this quarter’s grant cycle, we received 14 incredible nonprofit nominations, which were narrowed down to three outstanding finalists. Our members showed up in a big way, casting our largest vote yet. With so many inspiring organizations, choosing a winner was no easy task.

Wiley’s Wish is doing truly meaningful work, rescuing and rehabilitating dogs while also creating second chances for people through their prison-based training program, Paws of Hope. By partnering with incarcerated individuals to help train and care for rescue animals, they create healing, connection, and transformation on both ends of the leash.

We’re also proud to have their ambassador, Kaersten, as a long-time valued member of our community, and we’re excited to see the impact this grant will have in expanding Wiley’s Wish’s work.

To all of the nonprofits who were nominated: this is not the end. Organizations can absolutely be re-nominated, and we look forward to continuing to grow our community so we can support even more of the incredible work being done.

Thank you to our members for making this possible. This is what collective giving looks like...and we’re just getting started!

Last night’s Wine & Art Night, hosted by our member Tara Dickinson, was a beautiful reminder of what this community is all about. With Tara’s guidance, our members enjoyed a calming, beginner-friendly art practice that turned simple lines into flowing, meaningful designs, but more than that they were able to enjoy an evening where new connections began to feel like friendships.

This is what makes Santa Rosa Women for Good so special. It’s our members who truly bring this community to life by sharing their passions, lending their talents, and inviting others in.

Tara, thank you for sharing your gift with our community!

This group is about finding ways to come together, bringing what each of us has, and making a bigger impact together. It is so fun to see how our members use their talents, passions, and experiences to shape the beautiful community we are building. ✨
