What a night! 💖✨ We had SO much fun at our Dolly-inspired Happy Hour! Rhinestones, denim, boots, wigs… you all understood the assignment! 👢🤠 We may have just started a new tradition because October happy hours will officially be themed from here on out! 😂💕

Beyond the sparkle, we were thrilled to welcome Daniela from the Sonoma County Imagination Library, who shared more about Dolly’s incredible legacy of putting books into the hands of kids. It’s amazing to think about how many children have been impacted by Dolly’s generosity, and we’re so happy to help carry that good forward right here in our own community. 📚💗

You can still be part of the good! Our matching fundraiser is open through Friday, October 16, and Women for Good will match donations up to $1,500. 🌱 Today, we were literally Growing the Good!

Our Women for Good members spent the day at Food For Thought’s Garden in Forestville, rolling up our sleeves, getting our hands dirty, and helping prepare their garden for the fall season.

We planted lettuce, prepped garden beds, made new signs, and supported the thriving ecosystem that will soon grow into fresh food for our neighbors. 🥬🌿

But this volunteer day turned out to be about so much more than giving back. Our wonderful garden leader, Oliver, shared so much knowledge about gardening, plants, and new techniques, meeting everyone right where they were in their gardening journey. We all walked away feeling like we received just as much as we gave. 💚

A beautiful reminder that volunteering is about more than the work we do. It’s about what we learn, the connections we make, and the ways we grow together along the way.

A huge thank you to Oliver and the Food For Thought team for welcoming us into your garden and sharing your knowledge with us. We had an incredible day and already can’t wait to come back!
