We received the sweetest letter from a classroom thanking us for supporting their Kid Scoop News subscription — and it reminded us exactly why this work matters.

Because of our community’s support, students are exploring current events, building reading skills, and discovering the joy of learning through engaging, kid-friendly news.

Thank you for helping us put meaningful reading materials into the hands of young learners. 📚✨

When students can’t wait to come to school because ELITE happens after the bell rings… we know something special is happening.

ELITE is helping young readers build skills, confidence, and a love of books — one story at a time.

Reading should feel exciting.
Learning should feel empowering.
And school should feel like a place students want to be.

📚 Literacy in Action!

We’re thrilled to partner with Kid Scoop to support literacy and student engagement in Santa Rosa classrooms. Thanks to community support, we’re funding Kid Scoop News for all 25 elementary classrooms that requested the publication—bringing interactive, age-appropriate reading materials directly to students.

As proud members of the Sonoma County Office of Education’s Literacy Promise, we’re excited to work together to spark curiosity, strengthen reading skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning for our elementary students.

Together, we’re opening doors to discovery—one classroom at a time.

Today on Giving Tuesday, you can spark the joy of reading for a child.

A gift of $10 places one book in a school’s Book Vending Machine—often the only book a student owns.

Our goal: $3,000 = books for ten classrooms.
Will you help us get there?

📖✨ Give today and change a story.

📚 This Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, you can put a book in a child’s hands for just $10.

Our Book Vending Machine Program turns reading into something joyful—students earn tokens through positive behavior and “purchase” a book they get to keep forever.

Many of our students don’t have books at home, and book ownership is directly linked to stronger reading skills, confidence, and long-term success.

🎯 Our Goal: $3,000
That will provide a book for every student in 10 classrooms—300 kids receiving stories they’re excited to read.

❤️ $10 = 1 book
Every gift matters. Every book matters. Every reader matters.

Join us in bringing the joy of reading to Santa Rosa students this Giving Tuesday!
