Boys & Girls Clubs thanks California's elected leaders for supporting an increase of $62.4 million to the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) in this year's state budget! Working families need safe, free places for their kids to grow and learn in the afterschool and summer hours, and support for ELO-P makes this possible.

For more than 20 years, the Boys & Girls Club Talent Show has given members a chance to step into the spotlight, share their talents, and build confidence in front of a live audience.

This year, youth from Clubhouses and school sites across Santa Clarita Valley took the stage at Olive Branch Theatrical, showcasing their creativity, hard work, and courage through a variety of performances. For many, the Talent Show is more than a competition it’s a moment to try something new, express themselves, and discover what they’re capable of when they step outside their comfort zone.

The evening was proudly emceed by Club members Miyah and Mycah , who helped lead the show and celebrate each performer on stage.

Summer starts at Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley ☀️

Summer Camp begin June 15! Spots are filling fast as families plan ahead for the break. Secure a summer for your kids ages 7–17 filled with sports, arts, STEM, leadership activities, field trips, and meaningful opportunities to learn, play, and grow.

Families can count on a safe, supportive environment where kids stay active, connected, and engaged all summer long with free meals provided daily to help keep everyone fueled for fun.

Early care is also available for an additional cost for added flexibility.

Only $60 per year for membership ($45 for additional siblings).

Not long ago, they were walking through Clubhouse doors after school. Now, they're walking across a graduation stage. 🎓

Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is proud to celebrate an incredible group of graduates and the hard work, determination, and resilience that brought them to this milestone.

At Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, 97% of teens expect to graduate high school. Through academic support, leadership opportunities, workforce readiness programs, and caring mentors, Clubs help young people build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in school and beyond.

To our graduates: Congratulations! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see where your journeys lead next. Your futures are bright, and this community will be cheering you on every step of the way.

A special thank you to our Board of Directors for creating gift baskets for each graduating senior. Your generosity and encouragement helped make this milestone even more meaningful and reminded our teens that they have a community behind them as they begin their next chapter.

Behind the Blue Door | Joei

“Stay focused.”

It’s something our members hear often from Joei, better known around the Club as “JoJo.” Whether he’s in the game room, leading cooking classes, or checking in with members throughout the day, he’s always encouraging kids to believe in themselves and keep moving forward.

As a Youth Development Professional, Joei sees growth every day through the good choices members make and the way they continue to grow. One thing he loves most is watching Club kids grow from elementary to graduation and seeing who they become along the way. Change and growth are a good thing.

For the past 13 years, Joei has been a mentor, role model, and consistent presence for so many young people at the Club. His heart for serving others and the way he shows up for members each day is what makes such a lasting impact.

We’re proud to have Joei on our team and grateful for everything he pours into our members.
