This performance was part of the 2026 SCV Lunar New Year Gala, hosted by the SCV Chinese Cultural Association at the Newhall Family Theatre in Santa Clarita Valley.

We were honored to celebrate Lunar New Year with 450+ attendees and 100+ performers in a nearly full house, bringing together families, artists, and community members for an unforgettable evening of culture, art, and connection.

The 2026 SCV Lunar New Year Gala was a 2-hour cultural showcase featuring:
• Traditional and modern performances
• Dance, music, martial arts, and youth showcases
• Outdoor cultural activities including sugar-coated hawthorn (Tanghulu), candy art, calligraphy “Fu” writing, and ring toss games
• Community celebration with local families and businesses

This marks one of the largest Lunar New Year celebrations in Santa Clarita Valley history.
